Fenland Fisheries - Willow Lake

Fenland Fisheries

About This Venue

Willow Lake is the jewel in the crown of the Fenland Fisheries complex, a purpose-built, 14-acre specimen carp water that has matured beautifully since its creation. It's a venue that strikes a fantastic balance, offering a genuine challenge for the experienced angler while still being accessible enough for those looking to step up their fishing and target bigger fish. The lake has been thoughtfully designed and excavated, moving away from the "bowl" shape of many gravel pits. Instead, you'll find a rich underwater topography full of features to explore.

The stock is impressive, with a very large head of stunning-looking carp. The average size is excellent, with a huge number of twenties and a very good backup of thirty-pound fish. The real prize, however, is the growing number of forties that call Willow home, with the lake record currently standing at over 45lbs. It's this mix of achievable targets and the potential for a real monster that makes Willow such an exciting and popular day-ticket venue.
